Boogie Meeting Minutes

Executive Director Jay Jackson opened the meeting immediately following the BOD meeting. Those present were: Region 00-Teresa Bodle; Region 01-Wayne Kopec; Region 02-Don ‘Bear’ & Judy Hewitt; Region 03-Rodney Walker; Region 04-Jan Johns; Region 05-Troy Striegel; Region 06-Fred Spencer & Sheryl Richey; Region 07-Ken Harris; Region 08-Greg Turner; Region 09-Mo Kintner; Region 10-Frank Ira, Darla Abel, Thom & Betty Henderson, Leatrice & Paul Meadows; Region 11-Chuck Powell; Region 12-Dave Hawkins; Region 13-Paul Douglas III, Paul Douglas II, & Roberta Meyer; Ad Comm-Gino Johnson, & Dave ‘Frosty’ Frost; LINC-Mike Meyer; Membership Committee-Mike Seiler; State Office-Secretary/Treasurer Tina McCormack, and Edie Seiler; Event Security Mike ‘Mongo’ Pottorff, Mike Clendenen & Rick Thompson; First Aid-Steve ‘Scooby’ Downing; Electrician-Bruce Proctor; Road Kill-Scotty England; Vendor Coordinator-Mike Strode & Herb Archer; Boogie Bar-Roy Terrell; A&A-Ron Craig; PTVFD-Max Peters

ITEM 1: The roads & mowing have been maintained. We are working to ensure we comply with the new guidelines resulting from the State Fair stage collapse. The Motorcycle Safety Memorial renovation should be completed next week.

ITEM 2: Jay asked each Region/Program Director & vendors to update the group on their Boogie duties & needs.

ITEM 3: Immediately following the Wednesday dinner & meeting, we will open Products for approximately one hour.

ITEM 4: Max informed the group that there is currently a burn ban in place in Lawrence County, & he expects that it will not be lifted by Boogie.
