Things seem to be politically quiet in Indiana right now. The Indiana General Assembly session has not started. I haven't heard any rumors of possible bills concerning motorcycles. Can we take a breather and totally rest. NO! We must remain VIGILANT.

 

The issue of “tar snakes” is being addressed. As usual, things are not being taken care of immediately. Some state roads are being resurfaced with chip and seal to help take care of the problem of the “tar snakes”.

 

Jay has been in contact with some folks in the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). They did admit, as we could tell, that they changed the way they apply the sealant they use to seal cracks in the highways.

 

Let's hope some good comes from our efforts.
