Helping communities across the state
For 40+ years, ABATE of Indiana (a 501c3 not-for-profit organization) and our dedicated, compassionate members, have raised millions of dollars for many well deserved charities. These charities include the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Indiana Childrens Wish Fund, American Diabetes Association Camp John Warvel, Hoosier Burn Camp, not to mention the millions raised for Riley Hospital for Children through the Miracle Ride, and many other local, state and national charities.

Charity begins at home
After many years helping so many well-established charities, we felt it was time to bring our philanthropic activities to a local level by creating the ABATE Bikers Care (ABC) Foundation. The ABC Foundation is a fund dedicated to helping qualified not-for-profits finance worthwhile community programs. This could include a local food pantry that needs to repair a roof, to repairing a transport van for a special needs community – The ABC Foundation is there to help with projects that benefit Hoosiers. Recently, the ABC Foundation contributed money to the Indiana War Memorial to purchase a radio for their museum.

Raising money through fundraising activities
Through the support of local businesses, ABATE of Indiana holds annual events throughout the state to raise money for the ABC fund. These events can include anything from bike rides and washes, to weekend get-togethers, with net proceeds going directly to the fund.
"First Light Child Advocacy Center would like to give a huge thank you to ABATE for their hard work helping to raise $5000 for us this year …there are not enough words to thank you for helping to connect all of these wonderful people with such a worthy cause! " — Janet Bailey, First Light Child Advocacy Center |
